Cheap lowcurrent measurement
A single data point is pretty far from convincing IMHO. However, it shouldn't be that hard to even beat the 34410A's low current measuring abilities. It is, however, a very nice...

Low power RF
Nordic's proprietary stuff is pretty good for low power/size. That kind of range is definitely doable, depending on antenna/line of sight/etc. Any 802.15.4 transceiver should also...

PCB finish
ENIG has great shelf life and, as stated, good planarity. With BGAs this is very useful. It also adds some cost due to it requiring a large number of steps (~30 IIRC). If cost is...

Tantalum Capacitors?
Tantalums are crazy expensive though. Tantalum is also a conflict mineral. They sit between ceramics and electrolytics in terms of ESR. Lower ESR isn't always a good thing - the...

Power supply noise - need some ideas
Jim - what components are in your pi filter? I'd recommend a good stiff RLC filter. Put its cutoff way below the frequency of your noise and you should be good to go, as long as...

Torby wrote:Um, why do you need separate power supplies for the servos? Perhaps you're worried about motor noise? That's why I've done this in the past. Hobby servos can pull very...
