Can Flash memory erase itself
The ATmega parts are susceptible to FLASH erasure if the VDD is allowed to raise or fall slowly, BOD is not engaged and an external reset circuit is not provided. I have seen it...

Can Flash memory erase itself
Without BOD enabled, the parts are sensitive to glitches on VDD. Said can cause all sorts of deviations from normal operation, including partial or complete erasure of FLASH. :-(

Desing a AVR based DC Power Supply(Thinking Stage!)
Reproducing a design that works makes for an excellent test bed for making changes and getting to know the basic circuitry. Any failure is likely to be a build error, not an...

Desing a AVR based DC Power Supply(Thinking Stage!)
Sensing VIN and adjusting PWM to get the correct VOUT is called "feed forward compensation" and is done on some switching supplies. It is a faster way to react to changes to...

Programmer for the new ATTiny10
My guess is that other matters are keeping support for this part a little slow, like nobody proposing a $1M contract, in which case of course we will answer your question now. Not...

Programmer for the new ATTiny10
FWIW, I checked Studio 4 and while you can set up a new ASM project based on Simulator 2 and ATTiny10, none of the other programmer/debug platforms allows that ATTiny10 exists....

Programmer for the new ATTiny10
I suppose that I could do it with simulation, but nothing says success like having a piece of hardware to demo.

Programmer for the new ATTiny10
Samples I got, information on the STK600 adapter I cannot find. The user guide notes you need to use two 6-pin connectors, possibly as the reset signal is left off the TPI...

New ATtiny10 - the first ever 6-pin AVR
The Sigi ad showed a RR crossing arm and control box and a young lady who was a tech writer at the time. The box was supposed to be the memory. One pin device that anticipated the...

Atmega8 USART servo control problem???
Hi Mbianji, The ATMega8 has two easy ways of generating PWM for servos, FAST PWM and CTC based. Here is an outline for generating a single channel PWM that will for for almost any...

auto reload of timer1 in Mega16
OCR1A defines the TOP value in that mode. You don't need to reload as the register doesn't change. The hardware will automagically restart counting at zero when it has counted up...

ATTiny24 PWM and I2C
Hi Lee, Your suggestion does avoid the conflict, and if I hadn't been wearing mental blinders I might not have been concerned enough to raise the original question. So, there is...
