#define fails
Yep, removing the L solved the problem, and they get calculated correctly. But I wonder why GCC doesn't support the notation.

sbi, cbi not working. Why?
Hope this helps others: Fixed with a little bit of hack: Use #define __SFR_OFFSET 0 before including io.h Warning: This may cause problems later!

sbi, cbi not working. Why?
Yeah, that seems to work, but there must be a more approachable solution. Up to now I didn't need to use this macro, and everything compiled and run fine.

CPP glueing help
Yeah, thanks, that worked. Care to explain why? It seems to have logic 0. Thanks, axos88

IR Distance sensor
I am trying to make a sensor that can determine the position of a known object (later extend that to more than one object) in 3D space. So, any ideas?

IR Distance sensor
That is what I am tryingo to aviod, I don't have one, I don't know where could I get one, and I don't have the money for one :) Actually my project would be to imitate the wiimote...

IR Distance sensor
We are talking about a range of a few meters of (5cm to 1-2 meters). a 3 axis accelerometer wouldn't be accurate enough. I would like an accuracy down to 1mm. The IR distance...

IR Distance sensor
I have read up about the wiiremote, and they sayd that it measures distance from the two IR leds you talked about....

5V to 3V3
ka7ehk, What about driving the SPI interface with 3v3, instead of 5V? Is that okay? Or can that be done with simple transistors? signal to base, 5v to collector, emitter to SPI

5V to 3V3
Great idea, thanks. But it's a bit "hacky"... I'm thinking of a way to use simple BC547 NPN (because i have a lot of those at hand) transistors would work converting 3v3 to 5v,...

5V to 3V3
Okay, solved it, I bought a 3V3 voltage regulator. But there is a question that made me wonder. If my AVR runs at 5V, it's signals (HI 1, and LO0) will be at 5V and 0V too. Won't...

SDCMF-10715W1T0 datasheet
I have no idea if it is a "standard" footprint, but I could find NO parts that are like it, so I guess it isn't. I have no idea who the manufacturer is unfortunately, I just...
