Glad to hear it ( the '1284', not the oscillator ! )

The usual external clock lockout accident...
Yeah, the first ISP500 I bought leaked a lot... and failed after about a dozen uses. The second one doesn't seem to leak much at all, and has burned a bundle of AVR's.

The usual external clock lockout accident...
From the Olimex AVR-ISP500 Manual, page 10 (trouble shooting)... Quote: Target power might not be stable enough or supply voltage might be too low. Check your target board...

The usual external clock lockout accident...
ISP500 does not provide power to the target, you'll have to power up the '1284. As an aside, you seem to have JTAG enabled. You might as well disable it, unless you have another...

Real Time Clock
It is usually desirable for security oriented equipment to be self contained, and be able to run on backup battery supply for hours or days. In that case, energy consumption is...

ATmega1284 Misbehaves at Low Temperature
Glad the answer 'floated' into your mind!

Mosfet quasi sine wave inverter
Without a schematic I can't be sure, but the overlap is highly likely due to gate capacitance. As for measuring the current, it would be very helpful to know how much current do...

Can please Take a look at my Code
It is always wise to spend as little time as possible inside an ISR. Have the ISR just set a flag for main() to detect. Upon detection, main() clears the flag and generates the...

processors used for plc
In my previous life we generally considered a 'tiny' PLC to have 128 I/O max. How much I/O are you thinking about when you say 'medium'?

High Voltage DC measurement with ISOLATION
Sometimes it winds up being cheaper and just as effective to use a chopper.

ATmega1284 Misbehaves at Low Temperature
There have been sporadic accounts of strange behavior with USART0 when the '1284 is clocked at a high rate. Despite several attempts, I was not able to replicate this problem, but...

PLL Code
Did not see any sample code. You might dig around the AD web site and find something, but I doubt it will be avr code.
