How to get power from USB and/or Voltage regulator ?
Oh well, since it's a development board after all I think I'll just use a jumper to set the input. Thanks anyways guys.

How to get power from USB and/or Voltage regulator ?
Yeah I know that digikey shipps here, but the shipping costs almost 40$. So it's not really viable for small quantities. And this will probably be a one off board. Than again, I...

How to get power from USB and/or Voltage regulator ?
Thanks for the info, the in rush current limit was new to me. That ideal diode ic sounds awesome, too bad it's not common enough to be on eBay, so I can't really get it. Any other...

Is this a viable voltage translator ? 3.3v to 5v
What if I used 2 rf npn transistors, both of them in inverter configuration one driving the other ?

Is this a viable voltage translator ? 3.3v to 5v
This will be connected to a UART asynchronous mode.

Is this a viable voltage translator ? 3.3v to 5v
My circuit is essentially the same as the one on that link, with the discrete mosfet. The main question is, can this circuit (with the 2n7002) handle 1.5MHz-2MHz signal conversion...

Is this a viable voltage translator ? 3.3v to 5v
I know there are plenty of ICs that can do that, but they either have too many channels, where I only need one, or not available to me (especially those tiny 1 gate packages).

Is this a viable voltage translator ? 3.3v to 5v
Oops, I meant to put it in general electronics. My bad. Can any mod move it please ?

PL2303, any decent documentation ? app notes ? anything ?
Yeah, according to the datasheet you can draw up to 100mA from it. Now I wonder how can I identify which revision of PL-2303HX they sell on that ebay link.

PL2303, any decent documentation ? app notes ? anything ?
I like what you did there, pun and all. I came across another helpful document, this time it's a migration guide which explains the difference between all the different pl-2303....

PL2303, any decent documentation ? app notes ? anything ?
Oh yeah, it makes sense. I though I would have to configure the chip from the avr, but configuring it from the pc driver makes much more sense. pl2303 is so cheap and I have...

PL2303, any decent documentation ? app notes ? anything ?
The schematic above doesn't seem to have the PLL voltage supply connected to anything, I kind of doubt it would work that way. I'm more worried about the PL2303 configuration...
