Access to ISR variables
I like it, I like it alot. I see also that Cliff's method could be used in your original suggestion but I do like the use of the structure. Am I right in assuming that the...

Question: short-circuit protection for i/o ports?
a tansorb (tranzorb) is a protection device that shunts excess current and protects against overvoltage conditions. I wasn't aware that they themselves needed some sort of...

Question: short-circuit protection for i/o ports?
sorry, misunderstood your post. If you have a device that is driving one of your port pins then use a correctly rated transorb.

Question: short-circuit protection for i/o ports?
40mA is quite alot of current. Most devices that you'll drive will require much less, typically in the range of nA or uA. The internal pull-up resistors are usually around 50kOhm...

the same equations can be used in MATLAB (or VB). I rsik being redundant and go through it step by step... From my understanding of your code you are representing your value...

all valuable information fellas. And a nice piece of comic relief from MR Ekdahl. I'm implementing all the good stuff that you guys are suggesting and my interrupts are working...

I did ask the same question in two posts today. I asked it in Kartman's tute because I thought it was relevant there and if answered there added more clarification to the subject...
