12 volt / 10 amp PWM from a micro controller?
I'm attempting to control the heater block for a 3D printer. I don't think the speed needs to be great. I'm just planning on measuring a thermistor and adjusting the duty cycle...

10 watts/120 volts = ~.083 amps (an order of magnitude less...) 120 volts/.083 amps = ~1.4K ohms... ... so a load rated for 1.4K ohms when hooked up to 120 volts is going to suck...
