Based on "certs, and gain values", I would guess that OP is struggling to get WINC1500 updated to the latest firmware. And the real answer would be to bother official support....

No, EDBG chips installed on specific boards can only program the chip installed on that board. EDBG itself can program anything, but the AS reads out kit information and it won't...

Yes, they do. In AS7 compilers are installed in the same directory as AS itself, so it won't even affect your old compilers.

Create a global function and call it from the ISR. Put that global function in the main file.   Or if you want to hack, then create a copy of ISR() macro called ISR_GLOBAL()...
