AVCC, GND left Open....
AFAIK, all Gnd pins are internally connected inside chip. While all port pin currents are small, ATmega really works fine. But in any case, please feed your donkey! :)

Imho, the main advantage of tiny10/pic10 is that it doesn't look like a microcontroller. Funny way to confuse smb who wants to understand what your device is consist of.

Yes, non-L-version chips works fine at 3.3v up to 10 MHz Generally, non-L-version can be used instead of L-version, but not vice versa.
