I am starting new development with SAM S70 and for that I will purchase SAM V71 Xplained Ultra evaluation kit.

I need to connect a few devices over USART, some on SPI, connect voltage to AD converter and have multiple buttons and LEDs.

The V71 Ultra kit has nearly none of those features and when I look for Xplained Pro extensions kits (since V71 kit has two Xplained Pro headers) I find very few options and none of them fits my needs well (http://www.atmel.com/products/mi... see add-on boards in the column on the right).

In the past I worked with AVR32 UC3 kit EVK1100 which had nearly everything for my needs, but the V71 kit is extremely limited.

How is the development and evaluation done with SAM V71 development kit? Do people make their own extension boards? Or are other boards which I have not found?

Thanks.

Hi I am also starting with a V71 design. Do you have any place to go for documentation on how to use the IOPORTS. I'm a newbie and am very confused by the ASF reference material.

Really?!

Surely, those all come as standard on the XPlained-Pro headers?
