It has been awhile since I've done a giveaway, so up for giveaway is a single Autoprogrammer 256K!

Simply post an "I'm in" in this thread (double quotes not required!) and I'll have my lovely wife draw a name to see who gets it.  USPS shipping included.  Outside the USPS if you are willing to pay shipping that is fine too.

It is open to everyone even if you won before or bought some before!  See my signature for a link to it.  Have a great day and good luck!

Sorry I forgot the time - this will be open for one week!  We will have a winner next Tuesday!

I'm in.

And failing me winning the prize, how does one get their hands on a few of these nifty little products in Australia?

More than happy to pay shipping even in these exorbitant pandemic times!

Hi Steve.

Hope you are well. Probably be a long time before we can have another 'Freaks meeting in Melbourne.

Go to post #1 and follow Allan's link. I don't think he has any agency in Oz.

Cheers,

Ross

Obstruction, at least ;-)

I'm in.

BUT:

If I win, please donate it to a local maker lab.  Or better, donate the value to a local shelter or other charity of your choice.

I owe a BIG THANK YOU to both Alan and East Coast Jim.

Alan, for his generosity in sponsoring his give-away contest.

Jim,  for re-directing his prize in my direction!

It will be put to good use!

BTW, does anyone remember this Atmel contest / give-away:

I forget the details.

Wasn't it a Thread where people guessed the origin of the name (Raven), or something like that?

IIRC, (doubtful, actually), everyone on the Thread received the RZ Raven developer's kit.

Perhaps Microchip's marketing department will shower AVRFreaks with an AVR128DB Curiosity board to get them in the hands of experienced AVR designers and help identify any hardware bugs prior to the next hardware version update?

Maybe 12 years ago, I was teaching a little processors course & wanted to expose students to AVR (since I was getting tired of talking about the 8051)..I asked Atmel if they could send some freebies & was quite surprised when they sent at least 30 (maybe 40) STK500's and maybe 30 dragons (which were brand new at the time) & a box full of butterflies.  Around 5 years later they wouldn't even send me a single chip (one extreme to another).

When in the dark remember-the future looks brighter than ever.   I look forward to being able to predict the future!

Congrats winners! Sadly it was not me. sad

However I'm still keen to get me a few of these so an order is going ahead.

I'd like to extend a piggyback offer to any Australian freaks out there who might like to get 1/some as well.

I can add however many folks want to my order and then distribute to you at local postage costs.  Last I checked an AusPost express satchel was around $12-13 and standard satchel around $8-9.  Or, if you are relatively local (South-East Melbourne), I may even breach lockdown to exchange it in person.  Though we may (very very big may) be back down to stage 3 by the time they arrive. (Don't hold your breath!)

Alan says the 256kB model is $60 (USD?)

PM me if you are interested.

Cheers,

Steve

p.s. Its OK - Alan said he didn't mind if I highjacked his topic. devil
