I have a couple of mega128 boards here, and I cant read their sig using AS4 and a JTAGMKII or AS7 and a JTAGICE3. I can see the TDI only goes down from 5V to 3V for an instant when reading the sig. I guess I'll have our expert suface mount technician swap 128s tomorrow, unless someone can update the tricks n tips n things to try list here. I don't need a legacy device pack to program an old 128? Standing by.

Thanks John. I dont have an atmel ice yet. I'm just under some time pressure to get these copies of old 128 bds out. Seems like the mega128 programs fine the first couple times then I cant read the sig after that. I have 2 bds that act the same way, so I cant believe I did something stoopid like reversing the jtag on BOTH of them.

Try and reduce the JTAG clock speed by 2, I have some problems with high speed PDI programming and debugging with the JTAGMk3 and the ICE.
