Do you know where I can buy a STK525 eval board? This is designed for the AT90USB family of AVR mcontrollers. it sits on top of the STK500.
AWWWWW!!! Cool! I'm just amazed! Atmel introduced so many cool things today. The AVR32 is officially out to!! Well, I'll have to start saving some money for this USB top module!
My AVR Site
I just hope Atmel distribute them to Digikey.
They will, eventually. If they have a good supply then DigiKey will *probably* get them within 1-2 months. BTW, Do you know how they are $$?
They are selling those STK525 for $199 and the AVR usb key for $30 USD.
Evaluation and debug tools are available now. The STK525 Starter Kit, selling at $199, can be used in stand-alone mode and demonstrate all the above mentioned device classes. It can also be used as an adapter to the generic STK500. The AVR USB Key, selling at $29.99, is a very low-cost evaluation tool demonstrating human interface, mass storage and OTG capability. It can be reprogrammed in less than five seconds through the USB interface. JTAGICE MkII can connect to the starter kits and to the USB key for in-system programming and emulation through On-Chip Debug resources (OCD). AT90USB1287 will be used for sampling and development for the whole AT90USB family including devices yet to be announced.
Seems like the USB Key is in my price range. :D These are some pretty cool devices, no programmer required....you download using some built-in USB bootloader. Hope GCC ads support for these.
I hope so too... I would like to see a new revision of the toolchain supporting these devices.
