Hi - Usual suspects (RS/Farnell/Rapid) don't have the above for sale - anyone know of a UK or any other outlet?

I really need 20MHz @ 3V, so I need the newer versions...

Thanks

I think it's quite telling if you visit the Atmel/AVR/Devices pages that while most devices have a "Check Distributor Inventory" for seeing how much the US based distributors have in stock that link does not appear for the 48PA/88PA/168PA suggesting that they are not yet into the distribution chain. I think you may have more luck finding 168P but it's not going to meet your power/speed requirement (though you may get away with "over-clocking" the prototype for the time being)

Well, it might be because I'm not a trade user, and most resellers do not do one-off CC sales...

I've dug around a bit more and it seems the reason that they are not available is that... surprise... they haven't hit the supply chain here in the UK yet.

Some resellers say that they have had sample requests for the TQFP variant open since April... I won't hold my breath...

I wonder if they are available in any other country?

Cheers

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

They are actually "P"s, not "PA"s... The "PA" variant is not in stock on any sites I can find yet.

OK, I understand your confusion, but I think I'm right. ;) Note that I asked stck ckeck for the PAs. Maybe they don't allow for enough digits in their own part numbers? ;)

The reason I say that is looking at the suffix: no speed number. P/PV would be a -10AU or -20AU. (I didn't even notice what you did 'cause I knew I entered the whole PA in the part number.)

Now let's see what DigiKey and Mouser say-- DigiKey indicates 2000+ of Mega88PA, but no Mega328PA. But they do show stock of a P-AU.

So I understand your confusion. I have no idea what they actually have on the shelves given the above.
