Hi,

I'm looking at using a VNC1L to interface a USB keyboard to a microcontroller. FTDI briefly mentions the VNC1L can host HID devices, but does not seem to provide any relevant application notes.

I'm just wondering if anyone has managed to communicate with a keyboard using the VNC1L? If so, how did they go about it?

Thanks,
Matt.

Atmel has AVR's that can be host for your USB keyboard :) Why go the route of VNC1L when there is an AVR that can do it ;)

Because the device I'm working on requires two USB host interfaces and one USB device interface.
