Hi - has anybody successfully setup Eclipse to use WinAVR? I'm now using Eclipse for ARM development - so it'd be nice if I could do AVR dev. within it as well. Thanks!

No problem - it just works (the newest official eclipse & CDT).
Tested on Linux and WinXP.

I tried opening a project file and it only opened the project file itself - not the accompany c and makefiles. So do I have to import files in? I'm very new to eclipse...

If you have created files outside of eclipse, you have to right click
the project and click "refresh" to get them shown.

Do you mean an existing eclipse project or a new one?
In the latter case you have to import sources (and makefile if you chosen umanaged C project type).
Otherwise, if it was existing project "Rrefresh" is proper solution - as mentioned by ufechner.
