USB Interfacing??

i want to design device which can comunicate with USB. I want to know the basic of USB interfacing. plz guide me. Thnx

you will need a chip that supports USB interfacing, AVRs them selfs can sorta without using external chips, but I would not release something using this method, using something like tinyusb. not when there are other chips available, that you know will work every time.

I think your best bet would be to get yourself one of those usart->usb usb->usart chips. I hear really good things about them, I cannot think of the chips name off the top of my head, I know it starts with F :P Im sure someone will reply with the correct name, there used all the time.

edit: also atmel makes usb microcontrollers, I assume they are based on the avr 8bit risc, but I have never used them myself.
