I was running 4.17, but after having used 4.18 (no SPx) on my portable, my AVRDragon was updated.
On my regular machine, AVRStudio 4.17 now complained that it could not run with the new firmware in the AVRDragon, so I thought I'd update to 4.18 on that machine too. Installed SP1 and SP2 also.
But, after having done that, neither my AVRDragon or the JTAGICE MKII work anymore.
AVRStudio cannot detect the USB devices. Same from the command line, cannot detect.
Looking in device manager, they look fine, under the Jungo entry.

All machines are running 64-bit Windows 7, and everything used to work just fine.

Anyone seeing something similar?

The quick black AVR jumped over the lazy PIC.
What boots up, must come down.

Hmm, adding the latest beta SP3 made it work.

Although this problem is not mentioned in the release notes for SP3, it did update the Jungo driver, and voila, the AVRDragon suddenly worked again.

It's good news if this is fixed in SP3. Previously Win7x64 users were following this tutorial to get things working:

We've been having lots of problems with this as well. Here is some data that I collected:
