As of this writing, I'm waiting for my incoming package from Seeed Studio in China. I've ordered Seeeduino V2.2 (ATmega328P), Wiznet Ethernet Shield, SD Card Shield, and two Red 20mm 8x8 square matrix LEDs. It was ordered on 12/24, shipped out 12/28, and left Hong Kong 12/30. This package is my Christmas present for my new Arduino projects for 2011. I exhausted my PayPal account at the same time.
An order with RS Components Philippines, is an Arduino UNO, which was ordered on 12/13 and acknowledged on 12/15. I may be cancelling my order with them, because they are too slow! On 12/24, I presumed they forgot about me, and so I ordered from their competitor. RS Components is a higher-priced middleman service, recommended by Arduino Team. Their process is, ship from UK to Singapore, then to have me make a bank deposit, and then, wait another week or so, for the UNO to arrive at my doorstep. - I had asked RS Components to comp the price of the UNO to match Seeed Studio, and so far, there has been no reply.
Meanwhile, I'm planning my upcoming projects with the Wiznet Ethernet Shield and SD Card Shield. They are two different boards! I plan to do projects with both of them, with my Arduino and non-Arduino boards. Both of those "shields" are still considered, "unknown territory" to me, at this time. Just not certain what my outcomes would be.
Anyways, I don't know how to meet people with the same hardware, so I decided to write this post into AVR Freaks, to see what comes out. Have a nice day, everybody!
