Trying to find a programming guide for the ATTiny3224/ATTiny3226

I've gotten an ATTiny85 programmed using one of the many sets of instructions online, but I'm not finding a guide to programming the smaller, more feature-rich vqfn packages. Where can I find a quick howto/tutorial on programming these smaller chips? I have a couple ZIF sockets around, so my prototype will involve taking the chip out of the demo circuit, putting it into the programmer, flashing it, then putting it back into the prototype circuit. I'm okay with that process, but if the guide has info on how to do the programming in-circuit, I'd be thrilled.

SIMPLE! You provide the programming connector on your board, when ready to program plug the programmer into the connector and then download your code with your favorite programming software. I use Studio for programming as it does it all from developing the code, debugging if necessary and programming.

 

If you use the Arduino IDE you can do the same thing. (minus debugging)

That covers how to do the programming in-circuit once I've got the programming part solved, but I still need the solution for dropping code onto the chip in any case. =] Is this the proper solution? A link to the way to do this via atmel studio would be helpful, as well. If it's going to be tremendously easier in AS, maybe it'll be worth learning the new environment.

ATTiny3224 is one of the new UPDI-programmable chips, isn't it?  Fewer pins to connect!
