Hi there,

I use Bootloader PC Tool 1.2.2 build 227 for flashing SerialNet on Zigbit modules. Under Windows 10 the connection combo box only listed TCP/IP. I tried with different Windows 10  PCs, but it was the same problem.

Under Windows 7 I had no problems, the connection combo box listed TCP/IP, Serial, ...

How can I get the connection combo box, which listed TCP/IP, Serial, ... under Windows 10 ?

Thanks!
BR

Windows 10 USB was improved with some defects corrected but did have a redesign.

What is new with Serial in Windows 10

Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) had issues with some second party USB devices.

That may have been corrected (have not followed that), or there's a work-around (sometimes as simple as a driver uninstall and reinstall).

P.S.

There is an apparent issue for this on Windows 10 due to use of FLIP.

Hi,

I downloaded the full AVR 2054 package, read the Application note and all looked good. I wanted to

build a serial bootloader to my atmega2561 project.

When I started the Bootloader PC on my Windows 10 machine, I got the same problem as mentioned here.

Only the TCP/IP option was available.

I was not able to find any solutions in the Windows nor Atmel links provided.

If someone has found a solution to this, I really will like to know it ..

v1.2.2.214 still works.  I have the same issue in Windows 10 with 1.2.2.235 which is the latest version.
