Hey all,

Many HDMI extenders with IR control repeating features use the emitters and detectors shown in the picture below.  I am trying to locate a source of these as I have several customers that have broken units.  Contacting the manufacturers has been a waste of time as they tell me they are unavailable for separate sale, meaning I have to purchase new links for the two broken devices.

Heres the rub, these are not like the typical IR emitters and receivers more commonly used in A/V.  THese are special as they are powered, or have something unique to them I have not determined.

Anyway, if someone can point me in teh right direction I would appreciate it

An IRR extender. There should be (main) IRR on the box, and if the box is placed in awkward position, then an extender is welcome. /I do have one./

Edit: the box with 6 hdmi sockets is worked just two weeks, and dead by overheating.
