I have a NSP-3630 power supply that has let out it's magic smoke.

http://www.manson.com.hk/file/pr...

The mains-fuse was blown, it smelled a little strange
(probably due to some heat generated inside). I opened
it and replaced to IRF840 MOSFETs and now it runs
fine again  .

Now the question: Inside the supply is a halfbridge
of IRF840. There is one (impulse-)transformer that
controls the gates and is driven from a TL494.

Has someone a schematic showing a TL494 driving
a MOSFET halfbridge ?

Just a guess:
connecting #8 and #11 to Vcc and using ##9, 10 as outputs it should be possible drive pulse transformer from these for controlling MOSFET gates. TL output BJT's are working as emitter followers then (two phase mode).
