Hello to all......
I have one sensor which gives data through RS-485...I used atmega32 and max485 to read the sensor data...I have used isp programming to program atmega32...(using parallel port)...Now I am facing strange problem...I program the chip connecting ISP cable...after programming it starts the program , it works ok....but when I remove ISP cable and restart the program it does not work properly...it works ok only when ISP cable connected...after more digging I found that MISO, MOSI and SCK either of the three pin is coonected , it works ok...how to solve this if I want to run program without ISP cable connected...

are you trying to power the project using the parallel port? YOu might also want to look for ground loops.
