How do I do that with AS6 and JTAGICE Mk3?

I vaguely remember this being asked before but can't seem to find the thread.

The HELP agent wasn't of any help. I looked around in the debugger options but this is just the same screen as the options elsewhere in M$ style, just going around just to get back to where you were.

I believe it is under Debug/Options and Settings/Debugger/Atmel Debugger tab. The "Mask interrupts while stepping" options can be set True/False.

Thank Jim, I saw that in two places, the same redundant (to me at least) screen appears under "Debug>Options and Settings" and "Tools > Options".

The "Mask interrupts while stepping" is set as true by default but I don't want the hardware timers running while the program has stopped running due to a breakpoint, don't know if both are the same things.

There is an options in AS4 to do that. If I'm stepping then the timers can run for the few clock cycles it takes for the next instruction to run.

Anyway I have given up on the timer issue I was having for now, I was trying to prove something to myself but it is now in the capable hands of the Atmel guys. :-)
