Hi,
Does anybody know what kind of voltage converters the STK500 uses for interfacing with the target voltage ?
It says ".1Ft" on the 6-pin SMT-devices.
I kicked one by getting 24VDC on one ISP Line !

I had a look into the schematics,
its probably part U601 : LM317MDT
and perhaps the driving U602A : LM358AM
may also defect.

Thanks ossi, but I mean the pretty small devices which are all across the board.
Seems that they are some kind of Level Converters. As I said 6 pins, even smaller than sot23 !

Why don't you look at the schematics?

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

I googled for
marking code 1ft
and found:

http://www.tkb-4u.com/code/smdco...

so its probably bc847 combi transistor
but the one blown may be of othe typ, so carefully
cross check with schematic
