EDIT2: Oh crikey, just noticed post 90,001 so I missed the 90,000 "event" ! (may have to go and delete the odd "moderation" post to wind the counter back a bit)

I've been watching your count and my count, wondering if I'll hit 10K before you hit 100K.  I don't like my chances ;-)

Have you broken something doing that?

The top of this thread currently says, "15 posts / 4 new" - but the last post is #8 (joeymorinPosted : Thu. Mar 1, 2018 - 05:14 PM)

EDIT

Having posted this, the count has gone up to 17, but this is #9.

EDIT 2

The forum summary page says 16 replies.

I don't think so.  The other day one of the busy threads reported 100+ replies and n new.  The thread actually went to #52, and had a fraction of n new replies.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

I believe the new replies counter is including all the edits to prior posts.

This is dragging the thread away from its topic. I'll split this when I get back. Not try I g it on an Android phone

I wish you wouldn't split threads. Try asking OP first if they mind a bit of "off topic".

I agree. I think threads get split too quickly sometimes and it seems to cause a disconnect, especially with newer people.

However, I'm usually more of a reader than a poster, so take that as you will.

I don't think so.

I did look at that (as I did edit that post a couple of times) and the edits didn't seem to change the count.

Good call.

Oh Man, I wish you had gotten your 10K posts in while this was still an Atmel site.
