I've been using Studio 5 and would like to get my code into SCC . Our software group is using Visual Studio so naturally they are using the Team Foundation SCC. Is there any way to get Studio 5 connected to Team Foundation and to use it within Studio 5 ? I've looked at "tools->options->source control->plugins" but there is only the "none" selection available.

I believe your only option is SVn with the AnkhSVN plugin:

Thanks clawson - I'll post any findings I get from other sources here in case there is interest in connecting to the Team Foundation SCC.

There have been other threads about it so I guess anyone who operates a "Microsoft shop" will be interested.

(those of us who had our lives tainted by VSS in the past now choose ANYTHING but the M$ offering! ;-))

I know what you mean but this is what I have for now. I guess if I can show that there is no advantage to using MS I could probably pick something else. Which is ok with me it would best to keep away from the MS software people anyway! :)

Well I've been using Team Foundation from MS for a year now and have had pretty good luck with it. Although TF does not integrate directly with AVR Studio, files that are not checked out are easily determined. AVR reminds you that the files are locked (read only) and requires you to make a decision on whether to overwrite the file, save the file as another file or just cancel the build operation.
Although all TF SCC is done in another window it works pretty good.
