Hi there,

I would like to know what is the "Current transfer ratio" for an optocoupler?

The datasheet I read says that the Current transfer ratio = 100% min. and Rank BV: 200% min.

Can you give a hand on this???

Michael.

This should help.

CTR is simply a way to express the current transfer from the diode side to the transistor side. Using the CTR you can anticipate the transistor collector current by applying a fixed led diode current.
