Anyone here using the ultra low power memory LCDs?
I am using this one: LS013B7DH03
I have some questions:
1) Backlight: The back of the display doesn't pass much light, so using a backlight seems to be difficult. I read on other forums about using a laser engraved light guide, I think they meant about using it on TOP of the display so the light is diffused from the top. Anyone has experience on how to backlight this display?
2) Burn in image: I am applying a pulse on the EXTCOMM signal at 1Hz to do the "polarity inversion across the
panel to keep a latent charge from building up". It seemsto work ok, but when my battery is almost depleted and not much voltage on VDD (about 1.5V), I see a burned in image of the most used pixels on the display. Is this normal? When restoring full voltage, the display look normal.
Any other tips and tricks about using this display would be appreciated!
