Hi All,

I am designing a board around the ATxmegaXXXA3 series and am curious about the correct way to hook up the programming/debugging interfaces.

I looked at the Xplain board and it seems as though the JTAG and PDI share a connector. Is this correct:
nSRST = !RESET/PDI_Clock
nTRST = PDI_Data

If this is not correct I will create a separate connector for PDI. But in that case what do I hook to nSRST and nTRST?

I have looked through the app notes and manuals and couldn't really find a answer. Maybe one of you know where I could look?

Thanks,
Sam

Ahh, that it explains it. I am a GNU/Linux user so I use gcc/eclipse. I found this a little earlier... it seems to answer my questions.

I don't think I will risk trying to put them into one connector.

Thanks!
