Cleaning out the lab.......

I started a thread a while back for these, and I am too lazy to look for it.

I have the following:

The one on the left is 115vac primary

The one in the middle is 115/230vac primary

The one on the right is 115vac primary

The two on the left are 750VA, the one on the right is 500va.

All secondaries are 18vac

750va units are 6inches x 2.5 inches(15cm x 6cm) Hole diameter is 2.125 inches(5.5cm)  Weighs in at 11 pounds(5Kg)

500va units are 5.25 inches x 2.25 inches(13.5cm x 5.0cm)  Weighs in at 9 pounds(4Kg)

I have 4 of teh 115vac primary/750va units

I have three of the 115/230/750va units

I have two of the 115vac/500va units.

I want nothing for the transformers other than the shipping costs.  These were custom made so I do not have any data sheets on them other than the spec stickers on teh sides of the transformers

I will keep these until the end of august.  PM me if you want any of them.  If no takers then they will sadly head to the recycle lot which would suck as these buggers cost a mint.

Cheers all,

JIm

To bad the secondary is not 24V, I could use those for a test panel, sorry.

They would make a nice Lead Acid battery charger!

Wish I could help.

Maybe All Electronics .com would offer to buy them.....

Unfortunately, I have a fair pile of things like that myself, and equally not much use for them.  Of course, if I do dump them, it won't be two weeks before I go "Ack, these would have been great for this..."  S.

Did you ever hear of a surplus place in the LA area called CHA electronics?  I was thinking the other day about when I'd visit there a long time ago & was wondering if that was the name way back then...I found some stuff that I bought there maybe 25 years ago...I will of course be using it soon!  Took it cross country, just in case.

No, actually.  I have a couple of local favorite junk stores, and CHA was not among them.  "All Electronics" and another scrap shop...  S.

"All Electronics" and another scrap shop...  S.

Thanks.

I was a young pup & during lunch some engineers would say we gonna stop by "chaw" & we'd buy bits of scrap, some of which I apparently still have.  Was quite a drive-- might have been in Covina, don't recall (and anytime we went it was a looong lunch).   guess it doesn't matter when you are on a scrap mission!  But this was before the internet...so they could be long gone.

I used to also visit the TRW swap meet somewherz.
