I have often wondered if I could connect one of these to an AVR8 and actually use it, but the 'refresh' that DRAM requires, and the speed ratings these chips run at always stops me.  Looking at the datasheet There seems to be auto refresh and other things inside the device that might take care of these issues, but the minimum clock speeds I dont think the AVR8 could hit even if overclocked.
