I'm working on a little project here and really need some advice.

1. Is there a butterfly bootloader that uses very little memory and can select between two/three or more programs by selectiong it with the joystick?

2. What possibilities are there to make a secondary 3,3v RS232 115000 (only needs txd/rxd) port on the butterfly.
If possible some kind of ready made program and little overhead.

I am planning to connect a 3.3v rs232 comms module to the butterfly but i would really like to use a secondary RS232 port for it.
The first program would be passthrough(talk to the comms module) and the secondary program would be the actual avr program that uses the comms module with debug info on the original com port.

Thanks guys

Forgot something

To make things worse the secondary com port will probably be in use alot and i need the memory on the butterfly too.

Am i correct in believing that the usi connector cant be used for a rs232 because the extra memory on the Butterfly is connected that way?

Maby good to say that i am now building the hardware and i am planning to tackle the software later with the help of a friend (who needs the hardware to test on)
