I have been using the EDBG debugger on the SAMV71 evaluation board on studio 7 and it works fine for debug/code load etc.

However, our initial prototype board will not have support for the EDBG USB interface (external controller etc).

Would the Atmel ICE tool work as a debugger under studio 7 (if the JTAG pins are made available)?
