Have been using the EEPROM fix (AVR1008) for xmega256a3 for several years and are now switching to the xmega256a3u.  Is it safe to assume that I can remove the fix from my code, not seeing any posts about issues but thought I might check if anyone has had any issues with the U?

"This document does NOT apply to revisions other than revision B of the XMEGA A3 family, neither to other revisions than revision B of the ATxmega256A3B."

Check the errata for your device to be sure, but I have not had this issue on A3U parts.

Yup they fixed pretty much everything in the "U"s which is why they phased out the buggy non-Us that they replaced.
