AVR ONE 'Target run' LED does not work AT ALL EVER in normal use.

JTAGICE3 'Target run' LED does not work AT ALL EVER in normal use.

It is connected for sure to functional hardware as you see it flash different colours during firmware upgrade,

In normal use of AVR ONE! and JATGICE3 Target Run LED never lights up.

According to Atmel documentationIt it is supposed to light up GREEN when the target is running and light up ORANGE when the target is stopped.

Is there a logical explanation as to why these things don't work ?

In case you are reading this and wondering if I have a faulty AVR ONE!, I recently purchased 3 AVR ONE!, 1 was manufactured in 2011 and 2 manufactured in 2009, all of them do exactly the same thing, the Target Run LED never lights up.

Ok, I have finally seen the Run Status LED actually work with only ONE particular MCU but ONLY when using AVR ONE!.

That does absolutely ZERO to inspire confidence.

AVR One ! run LED works with XMEGA-A1 XPLAINED in both JTAG and PDI debug.

JTAGICE3 run LED nearly, nearly works as documented, it flashes green when the MCU is running and turns off completely when stopped, using the same XMEGA-A! EXPLAINED as above and it ONLY works in JTAG, it will not run at all using PDI, it fails with this error message 'Failed to launch program:Data collision. Debugger command Activate physical failed.'

I was using Studio 6 running the Atmospheric Pressure Sensor board example.
