I have a lot (2000+) of Citizen CM200S , smd 32khz xtals.
And they have a cl of 12.5pf , all the RTS's i have home needs 6pf xtals , and i have found a bit of doc on the net.

I would like for people to share their experinxes if they have used 12pf xtals where 6pf was specified , and will share some docs i found.

The summary as i see it if you use a 12pf cl where 6pf is specified , is a hihger RTC current use , and that the clock will gain around 4 minutes time in a month.

You can always increase the loading of the RTC circuit from 6pF to 12pF with external caps to use the 12pF crystal. If the RTC chips can live with that.
