I have interfaced 433Mhz rx-tx modules with AVR using UART.....but their datarate is somewhat low around 2400bps...

Now I found this RF module datasheet which supports 500kbps....but looking to the datasheet I suspect whether it supports UART or not...anyone has used this type of module before??? can anyone guide me how to connect this module to AVR UART ??/

Depending on the AVR you use, you can run the USART in SPI mode. You'll need also to connect GDO2 and GDO0 (not shure if one has to be an IRQ). Take care, the module is operated at max 3.6V. On the other hand when changing from 433MHz to 2.4Ghz your range will be smaller and WLAN can interfere with your application.
