PT2272 is a decoder. PT2262 is the sender.

Any AVR should be able to send and receive most consumer IR protocols ever existed.

i know PT2272 is a decoder and PT2262 is the sender, i want a practical circuit for them i mean a circuit that can be use really.

I looked up the datasheets and saw a couple of application circuits in there.

I often find that a Google for "
schematic" will turn up example implementations of
. So maybe try a Google for "pt2272 schematic" ?

(obviously they won't necessarily be on an AVR but, on the whole, that shouldn't matter if you are just looking to see what external support components might usually be used with the device)

If you built a circuit according to the schematic in the datasheet and it does not work, then chances are you made a mistake.

The schematics provided are for RF and IR applications. The RF version will be (a lot) harder to get working than the IR version.

What have you tried?

clawson --> thank you i'll try
jayjay1974 ---> thank you too, i want to try IR
but idont know why it dosent work i want only use one key to send data and other thing must be done with avr.

thiefcatcher? A very big strong well trained dog is better suited I think.

What exactly is this thiefcatcher going to do?
