I have got a 16x2 LCD along with an EM-406 GPS module.

I have successfully got the GPS receiver to spit out data and print it on my LCD. Now I wish to specifically view just the Latitude Longitude etc. . I was wondering if there's a library for this.

I saw Procyons avr-libc with nmea.h and gps.c files but I couldn't understand how to incorporate it with my hardware setup, presently I just print data character by character in the receive(RX) interrupt, with RX connected to my GPS.

Has anyone made a custom library for parsing NMEA data obtained from serial transfer?

I saw some other libraries as well all made for Arduino though.

I am using AVR-GCC with AVRStudio4 IDE.

abhishekbhardwaj007, this is not the right forum. And IIRC, I told you that earlier.

Academy section is for finished projects. I will move this post to the GCC forum. Please read the stickies in the topsection of each forum to familiarize yourself with it.
