In Simulator 2, how do I tell it that I'm using external SRAM. it won't let me enable it for M128A and I'm having to use simulator 1.

In Simulator 1, TIMER2 does not increment if the prescale is set to 1024 (M1284).

Is there a way of stopping Simulator 2 clearing SRAM and EEPROM every time I do a rebuild?

Finally two bugs in S2 - click a breakpoint while S2 is running and it blocks the input buffer so you can't click stop. Either wait until it hits a breakpoint, or if there are none you have to use task manager to stop it. The other (which may be a feature?) the stopwatch doesn't always initialise to zero ona reset.

Sorry if these have been addressed before, but the websearch seems to be broken today and Google is sending me down blind alleys.

Cheers,

Joey

Don't waste too much of your life chasing bugs in simulators - get an OCD interface and JTAG a real 128 - it works faultlessly.

Possibly, just add an extra 5 pins to each project, and with my record daisy chaining chips is just even more hardware to screw up :)

Why an extra 5 pins? - you don't need ISP any more.
