Ηι,

Ι have a problem that I can not solve, regarding AVR studio (4.19 and 7.x) and GCC. I tried to compile a .c file which is not mine. I get an error that there is no .elf file. I googled it and I found that a possible solution would to use external

tools in project option. Although that I foolowed the instructions, something is wrong again.(../project.c:337: fatal error: opening dependency file dep/project.o.d: No such file or directory). Can anybody help, please ?

The project is from the following webpage:

http://jumptuck.com/2010/08/01/g...

This code It is not mine, and thus it is not allowed to publish it. Due to html or browser,  there are some errors that i fixed. After that action, I faced the problem that I mentioned above.

I did that and I took the following error:

Error:        "recipe for target 'main.o' failed "

(I just extract the zip file and copied to my Documents/Atmel Studio/7.0/test1. Then I opened as project from AS7 and tried to build it)

Any ideas ?

It built just fine for me.  (on a Win-32 laptop)

It is not a very complex project.

Forget the pointless "Error List". What does the Output tab show?

I did the following. Complete uninstall and FULL install again. Now finally its OK without any other change. What about AS4.19 ? I have to forget it or to make other settings to that project ? I ask that because AS7 is seems to be a "heavy" software.

Clawson and David , Thank You !
