Hi, I'm trying to test this WiFi AC2 BEOK thermostat. I want to connect it to my smartphone. I downloaded the mention app in this manual and I'm doing the steps as mentioned in this manual. but I can't connect my phone to this device. The WiFi symbol blinks rapidly but the phone can't find the device. i used a simple WiFi SSID and password. what should i do to solve this problem? Has anyone had the same problem? any help is appreciated.

well it is general electronics/off topic, and the OP is a regular visitor of sorts……

many of these types of thermostats will only work on a 2g WiFI network, so if you have this SSID set for 2g/5g then I suggest you disable the 5g and give it a try.  Many of the cheaper “smart” light bulbs have this same issue.

try it on a 2g WiFI connection and see what happens.

edit:

In the manual link you posted, page 4, section XI it reads exactly what I just mention about the 2g/5g issue.
