Possible damage to reset pin on UC3

Anybody that knows the details of the circuitry inside the UC3A0512 seen from the reset pin? I managed to put 12 volt there, without current limit. But the UC3 still works, even the reset function. AVR32 is great!

Would like to know if there is some resistor in there, else i will replace the IC.

AVR8s can withstand 12V on their RST input because it's part of the high voltage programming system, but it seems AVR32s do not have that. The datasheet says it's a schmitt trigger input with a permanent pull-up, likely with a protection diode to ground and Vcc.

I'd replace the chip, just to rule out possible future hair pulling :D

I also saw that info in the datasheet, a kind of logic input. Difficult to tell what actually happened. I guess the protection diode is gone because there is a difference between this board and another when measuring RESET -> 3v3.
