I have handle that flashes on the corridor, when you leave bathroom. By this it minimizes risk of hitting someone with door.
It works well pretty much, but I encoutered a case when we mounted it on wide antifire door (I guess a lot of steel inside) a parasite flashing start to occure. I mean it flashes not only when you grab the right side, but occasionally it flashes when you grab the left side. There actually led is flashing.
inside the handle, the touch sensor is connected to the straight part of the right side (plastics between the rest of the handle).
parasitic flashing is definetely connected with door specifics (on many office doors we are ok)
To debugg we tried following: change plastic material, increase width of plastic, change battery location...
we plan to connect minus of the battery to the handle itself. To have a common grounding. (do you thing this could solve problem?)
any other debug ideas welcomed.
