Yes and no. AVR has no floating point hardware to speed things up, it is all done in software which is slower. The math library does it all for you. If you need two decimal places, just use integers and multiply everything by 100.

Now that this thread is done and many of us have been distracted from their work by a completey senseless topic title ("Please help Important"), may we ask if we can return to our not-so-important things like coding for money or whatever?

If this issue is that important for you, what was even more important to block you from trying to learn stuff available on the web before asking such a question?

Bob, now is it urgent for you, or important, as for the OP? This would lead to maybe totally different answers... ;-) [not that i'd be tempted to help in either case if someone approached me with such problem attributes without a sign of having done the least bit himself...]

Maybe clean the big hunk of steel so it's not so smelly? Or is it only smelly when in use? You didn't indicate what compiler you will be using and what the target location is you need to get to.

Are you implying that since this is Bob, SMELLY <=> IMAGECRAFT ???

Richard won't like that.

I've never met a pig I didn't like, as long as you have some salt and pepper.

Not a bigger deal than if you acted similarly in a place where you where physically close to us. Your choice of words like "important" and "urgent" makes you come through as being spoiled and asking for special attention, regardless of forum. Your call..

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

I have made several tutorials on how to leave the smelly hunk of rusty, smelly steel in your driveway and get to work under clean and refreshing human power. I can't help you with the internal combustion smog maker, but if you want to try a cleaner source of transportation, I will be glad to help!

Is it still urgent being the weekend and all?
