Hey, sorry to be offtopic but I am desperately searching for somewhere in Australia that has stock of:

MC68HC711E20CFN3

I need to source 2 or so chips within the next few days so if you have any options please leave a message. (Today's Date: 3rd Feb 04' looking for chips by 6th Feb 04')

I hope you were NOT foolish enough to start a new project/product based on it :-)
20K Eprom and 3 MHZ bus? Don't like your chances. Farnell stocks E9@2 MHz on their new 2004 catalogue at $59.42 each!!! My poor heart aches for the good old HC11. Have you tried Avnet, Future electronics and Arrow?

A search at www.findchips.com showed, that digikey and newark inone have some on stock. price between US$14 and US$20 depending on quantity.
I think you will be able to order them from Australia too.
