Hi freaks,

once again I updated my OrCAd AVR library (should contain about every AVR now (except the 100-pinners (soon to be added) and the mega406))

The library is not only available at the usual place on my web pages (http://www.geocities.com/_wsw_ --> 'electronics" --> AVR), but I also created an entry ("OrCAD AVR Library") in the Academy where you can download.

The library now contains this schematics footprints:

ATtiny12, ATtiny12small, ATtiny15, ATiny15small,
ATtiny25, ATtiny26-SO20, ATtiny26-SO20small, ATtiny26-MLF32small,
ATtiny45, ATtiny85, ATtiny2313, ATtiny2313MLF32,

AT90S1200, AT90S2313,

ATmega48-DIL28, ATmega48-DIL28small, ATmega48-MLF32, ATmega48-PQFP32,
ATmega48-TQ32,

ATmega8-DIL28, ATmega8-DIL28small,
ATmega8-TQFP32, ATmega8-TQ32, ATmega8-MLF32, ATmega88-DIL28small,
ATmega88-MLF32, ATmega88-TQFP32, ATmega88-TQ32, ATmega8535-DIL40,
ATmega8535-PLCC44, ATmega8535-TQFP,

ATmega162, ATmega162-DIL40, ATmega162-DIL40small, ATmega162-TQ/MLF44,
ATmega162-TQFP/MLF44, ATmega168-DIL28small, ATmega168-MLF32, ATmega168-TQ32,
ATmega168-TQFP32, ATmega169,

ATmega32-DIL40, ATmega323, ATmega323-DIL40, ATmega323-TQ44,
ATmega323-TQFP44, ATmega325, ATmega329,

ATmega64, ATmega645,

ATmega128

Still in there are some obsolete and EOL issued parts:

AT90S2333,
AT90S4414, AT90S4433, AT90S4434,
AT80S8515, AT90S8535,

As you might notice, most of the devices come in different housings and ‘flavours’. Some people prefer to have the ports sorted, some (mostly the ones doing their own layouts) prefer to see the real pinning of the chip. I hope I have something for everyone. Of course I can add your favourite view of the parts if you send it to me :-)

Comments welcome.

Enjoy,
Stefan

BTW - forgot to add:

I generated a schematics library for Protel99SE from the OrCAD lib and added it to the Academy.

If you convert the libs to some different EE CAD program, please let me know. I can then add it to the collection (That's all I ask for for providing the lib free).

Anybody who can use this?

...did some update today, corrected some glitches and added ATmega3250/6450/3290/6490.
The lib should be pretty complete by now (ok, ATmega406 is missing :^)

Enjoy,
Stefan

He said it was in the Project Academy on this site. So the search engine says:

In Australia a lot of people still use the old Protel Autotrax program :-)

There MAYBE an easy way of saving the libray in that format from Protel99SE??

Maybe. But on my curerent PCs with VISTA, P99SE unfotunately won't run. I hope I remember to try this when I come across an old XP machine...

Do you happen to have or know of a way to get a hold of one for the ATTiny861? Looking for the DIP-20 specifically. Thanks!

Stefan... Some error on your library...
I figure out when my board arrived... :(

The atmegaX8TQ32 (and all the complatible with atmega8TQ32) had the digital part of Vcc and Gnd inverter, on your library the pin 3 are Vcc and the correct is Gnd... WRONG...

 Big error, my fault, the right one for me is the ATmega8-TQFP32...

Stefan,

If you saved your library as ASCII files, users of other packages should be able to import it.
