Hi guys,

I'm trying out the new studio, I like it so far, but I can't seem to find any way to program an ATmega8, or any of the older (mature) devices. Is there any way to do this? Aside from the "get an older studio" workaround.

Thanks,

David

He, busy bee :)
At the moment AS5 doesn't support mega8. Found out the hard way.

Stick with AS4 for that AVR. Or better: stay with AS4 as long as AS5 is beta.

It does support the m8 using the STK500, at least in the final version.

O crab ;) , I missed that event. Will update AS5 a.s.a. I'm confident with the support of that old stuff. Like me ;)

Btw, you should see this thread if you intend to use other AVRs than the few supported by the STK500.
